Been going to this gym now for just over a month and I have been very impressed so far. Well thought out training plans, educated and engaging coaches. Classes are small and there’s plenty on throughout the week to accommodate your schedule. Would recommend to someone who want to put some discipline around their gym work and also do it in a top class facility.
I joined Urban fitness 14 months ago and attend classes three mornings a week!!
I never joined a gym before and wasn’t sure I really wanted to join but decided I needed to do resistance training and so I joined!’
Excellent care and attention from the start- Rob has been great in giving me exercises to avoid damaging a weak knee any further- I feel I am being minded and at the same time making progress. The instructors are all very helpful and professional . The other gym members are very friendly and as a small group it’s very sociable .
Everyone works at their own pace and level
So there’s no peer pressure!
Never thought I’d say I love the gym but now I can.
I’ve been a member at Urban Fitness for 3 years now, and I can honestly say it has completely changed how I feel about gyms.

Before joining, I never enjoyed going to commercial gyms, I would wander from machine to machine, unsure of what to do, if I was even doing things correctly, and always surrounded by overcrowded spaces. That all changed when I found Urban Fitness.

From the very start, I had a consultation where I did an InBody scan that gave me all my key measurements (weight, body fat %, visceral fat). We went through a nutrition plan and set realistic 6-week goals. I still do the scans every 6 weeks, which keeps me on track and motivated.

The sessions themselves are brilliant. They’re small group-based, so you always get attention from the coaches, who either adapt movements if you can’t do them or reinforce proper technique so you’re moving safely and effectively. As you get stronger, they progress your training so you’re always improving. They also have an app that tracks all your workouts, which takes away the guesswork and lets you see your progress over time.

As a busy mam of two small boys, the 45-minute sessions are perfect. I can get in, get my workout done, and be home within the hour. Everything is mapped out by the coaches, making it easy to follow, effective, and time-efficient.

I kept putting off joining because I thought all gyms were the same, but Urban Fitness is completely different. It’s not just a gym, it’s a supportive community, and I’m so glad I made the decision to join. I haven’t looked back since.
Urban is exactly what I was looking for! The workouts are interesting, never boring and always challenging and the atmosphere is so welcoming. I love tracking with the app and I feel myself getting stronger. You won’t regret joining!
Great set up - a lot fitted into the 45min classes so able to a great work out efficiently when time pressed. Trainers always on hand to offer advice and pointers to make sure continue progressing. Highly recommended
I was looking for a gym that I can enjoy, meet people and feel good about myself again as soon as I walked into the gym and met all the trainers I knew I was in the right gym i thoroughly enjoyed it love the atmosphere too thank you
I joined Urban last year looking for structured group training sessions, and I’d heard great things about the gym. It’s surpassed all expectations. The sessions are really well thought out, and the space is ideal for group training.

But what truly sets Urban apart—like with any great gym—are the trainers. Rob and Mikey are world-class. They genuinely know their stuff and go out of their way to share that knowledge in a way that helps you improve. They strike the perfect balance between creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and pushing you to get the best out of every session.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

I have joined other gyms and have not been able to get the momentum and routine going and have given up- from Day 1 at Urban Fitness Rob and the team have been helpful, motivating and encouraging - I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to keep up with the class. I started with managable weights and as the weeks went by I have increased the weight.
I look forward to my classes and the results that I can see definitely motivate me to work harder and to keep at my Fitness journey!

I joined Urban fitness because I wanted to strengthen my body, but I had no gym experience before, only Pilates. The workouts are smart, well-structured, and designed in a way that really helps you progress step by step. The trainers are always supportive, patient, and encouraging, which makes a big difference when you’re just starting out. I feel stronger and more confident every week. The atmosphere is positive and motivating, and I actually look forward to my sessions. Highly recommend Urban to anyone, whether you’re a beginner or already experienced!

I have been going to Urban Fitness for almost a year and honestly cannot recommend it enough for all levels, from absolutely beginners to more advanced levels of fitness. I had been going to a local budget gym for years and enjoyed it but my level of progress completely plateaued with no personal attention. Given it is a small group, Rob and the other trainers are always keeping a personal eye on you to adjust you and push you, always making sure you're safe and avoiding injury. There's also a lovely atmosphere in the gym; people are friendly but also just focused on their own personal goals and there definitely isn't a feeling of needing to be competitive with the person beside you. Everyone just goes at their own speed. There are also lovely monthly outings which gives you a chance to hang out with the other members and get to know them a bit better. I've done the breath workshop and a sauna and cold plunge social and both were great. Definitely give it a go for anyone who is seeking to start out their training journey or to bring it to the next level. Keep up the amazing work Rob!
